2 operations in 1 day..

well...i should write this last week..but because of many many factors (busy and lazy hehe..)so postpone til today :P

actually nothing special..juz my first visit into Operation Theatre(OT)

1st operation: total parathyroidectomy (2.30 hrs)

- basically juz open an hole at d anterior part of d neck, then dig for the

parathyroid glands tat located at d posterior part of thyroid gland,

then remove all d glands lo...(total=4)...then implant a little bit of removed

parathyroid tissues into d arm there.

2nd operation: mastectomy with excision of axillary lymph nodes (2.00 hrs)

- erm...cut d left breast tat infiltrated by cancer and d axillary lymph node.

#this operation ended up with lots of bleeding but d patient was well now :)

^.^ overall, juz felt like watched 2 movies in 1 day.. but i think i wont become surgeon as they need 2 b really skillful and careful.. and i dun wan2 get osteoporosis (having backache even juz standed and watched at side... :"(
